Trasso Boots was founded in 1987 in the iconic footwear city of León, Guanajuato. It was established by Mr. David Tobías Hernández Gómez, who continued the shoemaking tradition of his father, Don Tobías Hernández, a Mexican footwear merchant since 1970. With a vision focused on industrial footwear known for its quality and durability, David built a brand that maintained its prestige and distinction for over 30 years.

In 2002, following Mr. David’s passing, the company was taken over by his wife, Mrs. Lupita Núñez, who preserved the brand’s prestige for 16 years. Under her leadership, Trasso Boots built a client base of over 380 customers across Mexico and began exporting industrial boots to the United States, achieving strong recognition both nationally and internationally.

After overcoming challenges, Trasso Boots is making a comeback, now led by the second generation of the family. The experience of Mrs. Lupita in sales and production, combined with the drive of Eng. Tobías (son), brings a fresh and renewed brand—while maintaining the same values of quality and service that have defined Botas Trasso, now Trasso Boots, for decades.
